10/11/18 Fundraising Concert in aid of our charity for the year Alzheimer's Society at the Welfare Hall Pencoed commencing at 7pm. The choir will be supported by Tonyrefail Ladies Choir.
This was really successful with everyone enjoining the evening whilst raising money for such a good cause.
Brocastle Care Home 11th of November 2018
Lovely to start our Christmas events here again. Always a warm welcome and really pleasing to see the pleasure that the residents get out of it. Back again next year.
Choir Christmas Concert with guests Pencoed Silver Band and Pencoed Primary School Choir. The Concert will be held at 7pm on 8th of December in the main hall of Pencoed Primary School.
This was a very successful event with people enjoying the talent that is on hand in the area. Lovely to use the new facilities in the school. Already booked in for a repeat performance Christmas 2019.
Bethel Chapel Heol y Cyw Christmas Carol Service 9th of December 2018 3:30pm.
What a lovely venue and really good acoustics. A real pleasure to sing here and receive such positive feedback. Nice to be booked again for this year.

An event that is really popular with choir members. Lovely venue and hospitality. Was lovely to see so many people there. We will be back again this Christmas.
Events 2019
Cawl a Chan Pencoed Social Club 7/3/19 with special guests Pencoed Ukulele Band.
A new venue, new guests, Pencoed Ukulele Band and it worked really well. Feedback was very positive and our charity certainly benefited as did the choir.
5th July 2019 a special Annual Concert to celebrate our 40th Anniversary Year. This year the concert will take place at Pencoed Comprehensive School at 7pm with special guests Bridgend Male Voice Choir and Pencoed Primary School Choir (see Annual Concert Section).
11/4/19 David's Court, Pontyclun. This was the first time we had sung at this venue. We got a lovely reception and were pleased to receive such positive comments.
2/6/19 a change of date Civic Service Pencoed.
It was really nice to be back at Salem Chapel where we did two sessions. In the first Barcarole followed by an Abba piece Fernando. In our other section a compilation of Andrew Lloyd Webber songs. We received some really lovely compliments and nice to hear it was as good as usual. However it was even nicer to hear someone who hadn't heard us before stating she had heard a lot of choirs but we were up there at the top.
Armed Forces Day Bridgend Market 15/6/19
Well it was a rendition of well known WWI and WWII songs. Nice to see our very own land girl Sue in the choir and Winston Churchill himself make an appearance. Was lovely having the audience joining in with the songs. Lovely feedback and we will be back in the market later in the year.
27/7/19 What a lovely afternoon we had meeting people from Contact the Elderly and what a wonderful afternoon tea was provided. It was rewarding listening to what it meant to them with us adopting them as our charity and what they can do with the money.
19/10/19 Charity Concert with Pencoed Ukulele Band. Another wonderful evening with the audience joining in with many of the songs performed by the Ukulele Band. The auction was well supported a big thank you to all who donated items.
28/11/19 Christmas Concert at Brocastle. This has become the choir's traditional start of the Christmas programme. We always have a really warm welcome and it is really good when the residents join in. We even gained another conductor for the evening.
8/12/19 Carol Service Heol y Cyw. What a lovely venue to sing in. This was our second year here and once again we received really positive feedback resulting in them booking us again for next year. Thank you.
