Come and Sing With Us
Whether you’ve sung in choirs for years or your only audience has been the steering wheel of your car, our doors are wide open. We are a friendly, passionate group of locals who believe that singing is for everyone. Come along to a rehearsal, meet the group, and see what we’re all about. There is absolutely no pressure—just great music and good company.
What to Expect on Your First Night
Walking into a new group can feel daunting, but you will be met with a warm Welsh welcome from the moment you step through the doors of St David's Church.
Our Thursday evening rehearsals are relaxed and focused on enjoying the music together. We usually start with a few simple vocal warm-ups to get everyone comfortable before diving into our repertoire. You don't need to worry about being put on the spot, and you'll be seated alongside supportive members who will happily help you find your place in the music.
No Auditions. No Pressure
We firmly believe that a community choir should be exactly that—for the community.
-
Do I need to audition? Absolutely not. There are no scary auditions and you will never be asked to sing on your own unless you want to.
-
Do I need to read music? While reading sheet music is helpful, it is completely optional. Many of our members learn by ear, and we provide plenty of support to help you pick up the parts.
Try Your First Month for Free
We want you to be absolutely sure that we are the right fit for you. That’s why we offer every new member their first month completely free. Take your time to settle in, get to know your fellow singers, and discover the joy of making music with us before making any commitments.
