Welcome! If you are thinking about joining a choir, you are in the right place. This page contains everything you need to know about becoming a part of the Mid Glam Community Choir, including when and where we rehearse, what to expect on your first night, and all the essential details to help you get started.
When We Meet
Rehearsals take place every Thursday evening. For many of our members, it's the perfect way to wind down towards the end of the week, clear the mind, and spend a couple of hours focused purely on enjoying music and catching up with friend
What time we meet
We sing from 7:15 PM to 9:00 PM. We recommend arriving a few minutes early, especially on your very first night. This gives us a chance to say a proper hello, hand you any music you might need, and help you find a comfortable seat before the vocal warm-ups begin.
Where we meet
We are proud to rehearse at St David's Church, located on Penprysg Road in the heart of Pencoed (Bridgend, CF35 6RH). The venue offers fantastic acoustics for choral singing and provides a warm, welcoming, and accessible space for all our members.
How much It costs
Your first month with us is completely free! We want you to experience a few rehearsals, get a feel for the songs we sing, and make sure we are the right fit for you without any financial pressure. After your free trial, we keep our membership subscriptions as affordable as possible at £15 a month to ensure the choir remains open and accessible to everyone.
